Nothing but everything will ever be enough

If there was one thing that summed up how I feel I’ve been living my life to this moment and that all the lessons and challenges have been leading me to overcome and have that wonderful AHA moment over, it’s about living up to my potential.

To finally allow myself to accept all of who I am and who I was born to be and just allow myself to show up in that way everyday without fear of upsetting other people, being too much, too different, not enough.

Everything in my life has led me to this point, to this realisation, to this understanding that I am who I am and nothing other than completely allowing myself to be all of that, all of my craziness, all of my energy, all of my truth, is ever going to be enough to satisfy me.

Nothing but being 100% me will be enough.

Because I am who I am. We all are. And it sounds so cliché but how many of us actually fully allow all of us to exist and be seen?

None of us can be who we think we have to be or ought to be or are expected to be in order to please other people without it damaging the very essence of who we are.

We lose our sparkle. We lose our joy. We lose our playfulness.

Because the effort of being less than who we really are is exhausting!

Playing the game everyday to allow ourselves to shine just enough so as to function in the world but not so much that we risk outshining anyone around us (the very thought!).

Just enough that we can have a nice, ordinary life…but never enough to live an extraordinary one.

Just enough to limp through life, but never enough to soar!!

And oh, wouldn’t it be amazing to soar? To spread our wings and take off and know that the wind was beneath us, lifting us, supporting us, energising us. We could go anywhere we wanted to!!

It’s not some pipe dream! It’s not some far off impossibility!

That life force is all around us, in everything we see, feel, do.

It’s around us and in us and IS us.

We just have to allow it. Accept it. Believe in it. Believe in ourselves, and our right to be more. To be nothing short of everything that we are and have been gifted with to bring to the world.

Allow it and live it and love it.

Nothing else will ever be enough.
